Letter from the Secretary General
Dear Esteemed Delegates, Academic Team, Hardworking Organization Team, Advisors, Staff and Partners,
I would like to welcome all of you to the third official session of the Model United Nations of Izmir Science High School! I am Hazal KUŞ and I am more than proud to serve as your Secretary General in this amazing conference.
Our aim is to ensure that all of your needs are covered. While preparing for the conference, our executive, organization and academic teams worked really hard to provide you with everything and I would like to express my biggest appreciations to them for their efforts. We are sure that MUNIFL’26 will be the best conference you’ve ever been in!
During the conference, you will not only be a part of diplomacy and discussing current topics, but you will also engage in meaningful debates, exchange diverse perspectives, and develop critical thinking and communication skills. At the same time, you will create strong bonds with others, build lasting friendships, and gain unforgettable experiences that go beyond the formal sessions.
As the Secretary General of this conference, I suggest you to read your study guides properly and do research about your agenda item as it will make your experience even more productive. I hope you all will have a fantastic conference full of unforgettable memories.

Letter from the Director General
Dear Delegates, Staff, Partners and Everyone who have worked on this project for it to come true,
Hello everyone, and let me welcome you to the third official session of the İzmir Science High School Model United Nations Conference. I am Osman Ak and serving the role of Director General, words cannot express how excited I am to take part in such greatness. During the conference, me and everyone from our team will be making sure that all of your needs are met, you are having fun and most importantly you are doing your part in the groundworks of this conference, diplomacy.
When I first came here, I had only joined an online Junior MUN conference back in fifth grade, and didn’t even know there even was anything related to it in IFL. Now, looking back, I see three whole years spent on building the foundation that eventually led me here. Freshman me was just someone who wanted to improve himself and decided that Model United Nations was the most suitable, and I thank past me for doing so.
During this conference, our first mission is to ensure that everyone who attends has fun while doing what they love. And thanks to our Academic, Executive and Organisation teams working day and night without stopping, I can say with certainty that you will have the best committees to work in and the peace of having all of your needs covered with nothing missed.
MUNIFL has always been the dream of the MUN-goers of our team, and with the experience of previous years, I can say that we have definitely achieved that dream and that an amazing conference awaits all who attend it. A conference is nothing without its delegates and your hard work during it means everything to us, so I as the Director General must say this, I advise all of you to do great research on your topics, read your study guides and give it your all for the amazing conference that is MUNIFL’26!
